The Occupational Therapist provides occupational therapy services to individuals and their families in a team relationship with other health care providers in a setting that is designated by the department. Neuro experience preferred.
Responsibilities- Performs all functions associated with the evaluation patients for all age group within the department's responsibility.
- Completes all documentation required within the regarded timeline according to department.
- Identifies the needs of the patient population served and modifies and delivers care that is specific to those needs (i.e., age, culture, language, hearing and/or visually impaired, etc.). This process includes communicating with the patient, parent and/or primary caregiver(s) at their level (developmental/age, educational, literacy, etc.).
- Adheres to the standards identified in the Medical Center's Organizational Competencies.
- Graduation from an accredited occupational therapy school.
- Occupational Therapist License.
- Lifts a minimum of 50 lbs., pushes and pulls a minimum of 100 lbs. and stands a minimum of 6 hours a day.
Minimum rate of $45.94 hourly. Compensation is benchmarked against market data and may vary based on experience, education, certifications, skills, geographic location, internal equity, and budget/ grant funding. Shift differentials, bonuses, or commissions may also apply.
