Solar Energy Consultant

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Solar Consultant based in Ney York and New Jersey, with the flexibility for some work-from-home opportunities. The Solar Consultant will educate clients on solar energy solutions, assess customer needs, and design tailored renewable energy systems. The role includes generating leads, conducting site assessments, preparing proposals, and collaborating with the sales and installation teams to ensure customer satisfaction.

Maintaining industry knowledge and providing exemplary customer service are critical components of this role.

• Knowledge of renewable energy systems, solar technologies, and the solar industry
• Ability to conduct detailed site assessments and create energy solutions
• Proficiency in sales, client relationship management, and communication skills
• Strong problem-solving, organizational, and presentation skills
• Proficiency in using software tools for energy modeling and proposal generation
• Self-motivated, team-oriented, and capable of working in a hybrid work environment
• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field is preferred
• Previous experience in the solar or renewable energy sector is an advantage
