Summer Teacher Needed

Enthusiastic Elementary Science Enrichment Camp Counselors/Teachers needed for our Super Science Programs for Kids. We offer hands‑on summer enrichment camps for kids ages 6‑13 through the Bergen Community College program. Our camps are the stuff that kids love! Legos, Science Experiments, Robots, Building, and more! Each week of the summer, we offer a morning and an afternoon camp. We are looking for a teacher and aide for our camps.

The person we hire will receive full training in each of our camps. We ask that you teach between two and eight weeks of the summer. Our camps center around science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics. We will consider all applicant backgrounds. You don't have to be a rocket scientist, but you do need to have some background working with children.

Camp Day Requirements:
Arrive 8:30 to set up. Teach 9:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m. (Break/lunch from 12:00‑1:00). Teach from 1:00‑4:00. We also have some after‑school programming – which would be a great way to get your feet wet.

Salary:
Up to $1,000.00 / week depending on experience. (Teaching morning and afternoon)

Teacher or substitute certification. College education and students may apply. Camp and/or Science/STEM teaching experience helpful.

Super Science Programs for Kids is a company dedicated to improving science and STEM education for kids. Super Science consists of a team of dedicated teachers and well‑qualified science enthusiasts that want to make learning science FUN! Our programs are offered at Bergen County Community College during the summers. Workshops are taught in a completely hands‑on style. They are designed to be both fun and educational.

We also offer birthday parties, community programs, college for kids, and a variety of other types of events. We also have an opening at Middlesex County College.
