Part-time Curriculum Specialist ELA

We are currently seeking a passionate and knowledgeable part‑time Curriculum Specialist for our 6‑12 ELA curriculum. This role is designed for individuals who are committed to enhancing K‑12 education and have the skills to drive educators toward making informed decisions that positively impact learning outcomes.

• Deliver engaging presentations during sales cycles, covering key customer interaction points such as exhibits, meetings, pilot programs, and activation trainings.
• Provide ongoing support to pilot teachers, ensuring effective communication throughout the pilot process.
• Contribute customer insights to sales, product, and marketing teams to drive product improvements.
• Maintain expertise in Savvas Learning Company’s educational materials and actively participate in our certification process.
• Foster positive relationships with customers during and after the sales process to ensure satisfaction and support.
• Consistently deliver excellent customer service while effectively addressing queries and concerns.

• Minimum of 5 years of K‑12 education experience, including teaching experience.
• A Bachelor's degree is required; a Master's degree is preferred.
• Proficiency in English and Spanish is a plus.
• In‑depth knowledge of K‑12 education theory, market trends, and the 6‑12 ELA content area.
• Experience in public speaking and creating impactful presentations for various audiences, including teachers and administrators.
• Strong technology skills, with the ability to use various software and hardware for multimedia presentations.

• Regional travel required, sometimes on short notice.
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs.
• Effectively manage timekeeping and expenses in compliance with Savvas policies.
• Collaborate with sales and operational teams to address customer satisfaction issues.
• Possess a self‑starter attitude, capable of managing self‑directed training and preparation.
• Engage in meaningful discussions with school districts regarding 6‑12 ELA.
