Principal, Vice Principal, and Supervisor of Visual and Performing Arts/ 21st Century Careers

• Teach students practical, real‑world skills in clothing construction, interior design, child development, and fashion design through engaging, hands‑on instruction that connects classroom learning to everyday life.
• Design and implement developmentally appropriate lessons that encourage creativity, technical skill development, and applied learning.
• Foster an inclusive, supportive, and respectful learning environment where all students feel valued and empowered to participate.
• Promote responsible decision‑making, critical thinking, and problem‑solving skills by guiding students through project‑based learning experiences and real‑world scenarios.
• Support students in building independence, confidence, and lifelong skills that prepare them for personal responsibility, future education, and career readiness.

• Must hold or be eligible for a New Jersey Family and Consumer Sciences Certification (Codes:1705, or 1706 and 1708).
• Alternate Route CE Certified Candidates with industry‑related experience are welcome to apply.
• Experience with fashion/interior design applications, clothing construction methods, and child development preferred.

Starting salary of $57,547.00 in accordance with collective bargaining agreement

Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with the provisions of the Agreement between the Board of Education and the Education Association of Paramus.
