Summer Camp Regional Supervisor

APPLY NOW TO BECOME A ROCKETEER! We are seeking enthusiastic, motivated and talented individuals to work as seasonal supervisors for Black Rocket technology camps. This is a summer seasonal position and you are expected to work the entire summer, following the prevailing local school district summer break schedule. Black Rocket will TRAIN you and you will be paid to build your resume and have fun.

Regional Supervisors are enthusiastic, organized, and motivated individuals. They supervise instructors and interact with students, parents, and program directors. Core responsibilities include:

• Supervise instructors and interact with students, parents, and program directors
• Manage schedules or events and supervise adults
• Travel to multiple sites within the region throughout the day
• Provide feedback to and evaluate teachers of all levels
• Maintain knowledge of effective instructional practices and strong problem-solving skills
• Commit to the whole summer season (local timing varies by region) and participate in limited evening meetings in May and one weekend face-to-face meeting
• Begin training online at your own pace starting in May

• 3+ years of K-12 school experience required
• Experience managing adults in a school or after-school setting
• Experience managing schedules or planning events
• Comfortable with a range of technology (e.g., video editing, digital arts, coding, game development, robotics) is ideal but not required
• Comfortable traveling to multiple sites within the region
• Strong problem-solving skills and knowledge of effective instructional practices
• Comfortable giving feedback to and evaluating teachers of all levels
• Available to commit to the whole summer season and for limited evening meetings in May and a weekend face-to-face meeting
• Available to start training online at your own pace starting in May

• Rate: $25/hr - $30/hr

Black Rocket provides unique educational enrichment programs focused on the intersection of creativity and technology. Our programs emphasize self-empowerment, critical thinking, and creative problem solving through hands-on learning. We begin recruiting for summer in January and positions are filled on a rolling basis. We will review applications submitted online only.
