The Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) provides, directs, and supervises all aspects of quality patient care, including screening, evaluation, treatment, planning, goal setting, family education, and documentation to ensure the best outcomes. The SLP ensures that patient care complies with organizational guidelines, professional standards, and legal requirements.
The SLP advocates for patients and coordinates with interdisciplinary teams to provide consistent care. The role also involves participating in quality assurance and customer service activities.
Requirements:- Master of Science in Speech/Language Pathology
- Licensure or Certification as required by State guidelines
- CPR Certification
- 1 year Speech/Language Pathology experience preferred
- 1-2 years’ experience in a residential/assisted living or skilled nursing facility preferred
- Students in their CFY (Clinical Fellowship Year) will be considered
