, with up to 90% Town contributions for dependents - Paid vacation and sick leave accruals, with 60 hours of vacation advanced upon hire
- 10 paid holidays + 1 special holiday, 2 personal days
- 320 hours of paid parental leave
- $2,000 uniform allowance upon hire; $1,500/year after one year
- $5,250 tuition reimbursement annually
- Basic Life, AD&D, and short‑term disability coverage (100% Town‑paid)
- Ballistic vest provided every 5 years

- Overtime paid for hours worked outside of shift (in addition to federal standard of over 40 hours in the workweek)
- $3.00/hr (weekends)
- $1.25/hr (nights)
- $10.00/hr (instructor‑led training)
- $75.00/hr starting pay for off‑duty work (with 4‑hour minimum at luxury resorts and private residences)
- 2.5% pay increases for specialty assignments
- A valid class D Arizona driver’s license upon hire
- A high school diploma or GED
- A valid Arizona Peace Officers Standards and Training Board (AZPOST) certification as a peace officer upon hire
- Successful completion of law enforcement field training
- A valid class D Arizona driver’s license upon hire
- A high school diploma or GED
- One year as a sworn officer in a municipality, county, or state law enforcement agency, or equivalent experience
- A valid peace officer certification and the ability to become AZPOST‑certified
