Operates a motor vehicle for the purpose of switching empty and full trailers to and from shipping dock and yard trailer parking area

These items are considered essential functions for every job at Omaha Steaks (in addition to those listed in the table below):

• Demonstrates a consistent positive attitude to support a productive work environment. Cooperates, communicates and works well with coworkers. Treats all employees and customers respectfully.
• Adheres to work rules and company policies including meeting expectations for attendance and punctuality. Maintains a clean and safe work environment at all times and adheres to safety and security standards, reporting all hazards or incidents immediately to a supervisor.

Drives Shag truck based on a daily need as determined by shipping requirements. Operates yard truck in a safe and timely manner at all times. Shags trailers on and off docks as required.

Verifies the completion of outbound driver bill of lading documentation, noting any discrepancies to OSI Logistics personnel. Places seals on trailers upon completion. Completes all paperwork in a timely and accurate manner.

Performs other duties as assigned. Meets expectations for attendance and punctuality.

High school diploma or equivalent

• Ability to operate a Shag Truck
• Ability to operate power jack equipment.
• Ability to read, write and perform basic mathematical calculations
• Good driving record for 3 years
• Good communications skills, ability to work under pressure, ability to work as a member of a team
• Working knowledge of refrigerated trailers preferred

This is a temporary position for the holiday season. Day and night shifts available. Please plan to work 12‑hour shifts, up to 7 days per week, 5 am – 5 pm (days) or 5 pm – 5 am (nights). Peak time is November through the end of December.
