Overview

Are you a Lead Cook looking to work for an amazing organization by serving others and connecting with your co-workers? Immanuel Communities is seeking a Full-time Lead Cook to work at Trinity Village, located at 522 West Lincoln Street, Papillion, NE 68046
. Trinity Village has 40 independent living and 30 assisted living apartment homes. Must be available to work 10:00am to 6:00pm any day of the week -- including weekends and holidays -- for a total of approximately 40 hours/week. This is not an entry level position, so must have at least two years of cooking experience at a level above fast food/fast casual in order to be considered.

This position will pay up to $21.00/hour. Pay will be based upon experience, certifications, skills and education.

What You Will Do

The Lead Cook is to ensure that high-quality food is prepared, apportioned, and presented in an appealing manner to residents. Additional responsibilities include all types of food preparation, including baking, grilling, stove-top and oven cooking, and cleaning the kitchen. The incumbent may be assigned to oversee progress of cooks abilities, kitchen projects, or certain aspects of food preparation in the kitchen.

• Two (2) years of cooking experience at a level above fast food/fast casual is required.
• BLS Certification (Basic Life Support) or willing to obtain certification if hired is required.
• Must be at least 19 years old.
