Location: North Point Rehabilitation & Skilled Nursing

Compensation: $31.00 - $33.00 / hour

• Patient Care Implementation:
  Assist in the implementation of treatment plans developed by the physical therapist to address patients  specific rehabilitation goals and functional needs.
• Therapeutic Exercise and
  
  Activities:
  
  Lead patients through prescribed exercises and therapeutic activities designed to enhance their physical function and promote recovery. Instruct, monitor progress, and provide feedback to ensure safe participation.
• Modalities and Physical Agents:
  Ensure proper application of various treatment modalities, monitor patient responses, and adjust treatment parameters as necessary to optimize outcomes.
• Patient and Family
  
  Education:
  
  Educate patients and their families on injury prevention strategies, proper body mechanics, and techniques for managing pain and discomfort.
• Progress Monitoring and Reporting:
  Monitor patients  responses to treatment, document progress and functional status, and communicate with the supervising PT to adjust the treatment plan as needed.

• Degree in an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program
• Current license/certification in the state of practice
