Construction Laborer

We are seeking a hardworking and reliable Construction Laborer to join our team!

Key responsibilities:

* Assist with site preparation, including clearing debris and setting up materials.

* Load and unload construction materials and distribute them to appropriate locations.

* Operate basic hand and power tools safely and efficiently.

* Mix, pour, and spread concrete, asphalt, and other construction materials.

* Dig trenches, backfill excavations, and compact earth for construction purposes.

* Follow safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

* Assist skilled tradespeople, such as carpenters, electricians, and plumbers, as required.

* Perform general maintenance of construction equipment and report any malfunctions.

* Other duties as assigned by the supervisor or project manager.

Preferred Qualifications:

* Previous experience in construction or a related field is preferred but not required.

* Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy objects and standing for long periods.

* Knowledge of basic construction techniques and tools is a plus.

* Strong work ethic, reliability, and the ability to follow instructions.

* Willingness to work in various weather conditions and adapt to changing tasks.

* Compliance with workplace safety guidelines and use of protective equipment.

* A valid driver's license may be required, depending on the job site location.

Physical demands:

* Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (50+ lbs) regularly.

* Prolonged standing, bending, kneeling, and climbing ladders.

* Exposure to various weather conditions, including extreme heat and cold.

* Ability to work in noisy and dusty environments.
