Join to apply for the Store Counter Sales role at NAPA Auto Parts.
We are looking for talented individuals to be the face of our retail store, assisting customers with their automotive needs. No need to be able to tear down motors, but a background in automotive parts is preferred. This role offers opportunities to grow your career, whether full-time or part-time, and to explore other roles within our company.
What You Will Be Doing- Providing auto parts solutions to retail and wholesale customers in person and over the phone
- Assisting team members with customer questions using your parts knowledge
- Delivering outstanding customer care and creating a positive shopping experience
- Engaging with customers and bringing energy to our fast-paced stores
- Using technology, including computers, cash registers, and catalogs
- Enjoy helping customers with auto parts and service questions
- Have experience in the automotive industry or enjoy tinkering with cars and trucks
- Are willing to learn about automotive parts if you don’t already know
- Want to grow your career in a team environment
- Valid Driver’s License
- Experience in a parts store or automotive industry, or willingness to learn
- High School Diploma or GED, technical or trade school is a plus
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced retail environment
- Strong listening skills and empathy for customers
- Background or passion for automotive, heavy equipment, farm, diesel, marine, or dealership industries
- Experience with cataloging or inventory management systems
- Customer-centric attitude
- ASE Certifications (a plus but not required)
