The member frontline cashier responsibilities include interacting with members, processing transactions, and maintaining a clean and welcoming area. The pace can be fast, especially in the evenings, on weekends, and during holidays.

• Maintain safety of facility according to company policies and procedures by conducting safety sweeps; follow forklift spotting procedures; follow procedures for handling and disposing of hazardous materials; follow company standards; and report unsafe situations to facility management.
• Provide member service by acknowledging members and identifying needs; assist with purchasing decisions; locate merchandise; resolve issues; promote products and services; support member self-service technology; process member purchases; assist with payments according to policies for different membership and payment types; assist with transactions using registers or self-checkout; organize and zone the area.
• Comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans; use the Open Door Policy; and apply these in business processes and practices.
• Complete work assignments by using policies, data, and resources; collaborate with managers, coworkers, customers, and other partners; identify priorities and deadlines; carry out tasks; communicate progress; identify opportunities for improvement; adapt to change and feedback.

• Customer Service, Retail experience including operating front end equipment (cash register), working with mobile retail applications
