Car Wash Associate

Position Summary

Car Wash Associate will assist the Car Wash Leader/Manager in ensuring the daily car wash operation runs efficiently, while maintaining high standards for the overall appearance and cleanliness of the property. The role involves cross‑training in all areas of the Car Wash to gain valuable operations experience. This position is part of EG America, a company operating nearly 1,700 locations across the United States.

• Maintain overall appearance and cleanliness of the car wash by performing cleaning of the facility, equipment room, exterior grounds, and vacuum area, ensuring all items are organized.
• Ensure all equipment (payment stations, wash equipment, power washer, vacuums) is kept operational; resolve issues or submit service tickets as needed.
• Greet guests in a friendly manner and provide assistance with the car wash process or at vacuums.
• Handle customer complaints, employee conflicts, and daily operational problems in an even‑tempered, fair, and consistent manner.
• Perform work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Operate automated equipment efficiently after learning its use.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures in all daily tasks.
• Cross‑train in the retail store to greet guests, operate registers, stock shelves, clean store areas, and assist the Store Manager as needed.

Full‑time and part‑time schedules are available, with a range of 30–40 hours for full time and up to 29 hours for part time. The position may require day, night, weekend, and holiday hours, as the car wash and retail locations can be open 24 hours. Travel up to 5% may be required for other locations as needed.

• High School diploma or GED (preferred).
• Minimum 3 months experience as a Guest Service Associate with EG America or previous car wash experience.
• Preferred experience of 6–12 months in car wash, retail, guest service, or restaurant settings.
• Comfortable interacting with guests and team members.
• High energy and ability to work independently.
• Team-oriented; willing to give extra effort to help others.

Ability to stand/walk for 8 hours a day; lift up to 40 lbs, reach overhead, bend, squat, twist, and grasp as necessary. Work may be performed in cooler (cold temperatures).
