Overview

Health Care Support is actively interviewing for a PACU RN for an exciting opportunity in Panama City, FL
. This facility is recognized for excellence, with accreditations from the American College of Surgeons’ Commission on Cancer, the American College of Radiology, and designation as a Chest Pain Center with Primary PCI and Resuscitation, as well as receiving the Health grades Patient Safety Excellence Award. Base pay range: $27.72/hr - $39.60/hr
. Sign-on bonus: up to $15,000
.

• Schedule: 4x10s – Mixed positions
• On-call: 4 weeknight calls per 4-week block + 36 weekend hours per 4-week block
• Schedule posted 4 weeks in advance

Panama City, FL

• Florida RN license (if compact, active FL license within 90 days)
• 1+ year Critical Care experience (ER, ICU, IMCU)

• Monitor patients as they wake from anesthesia following surgery or procedures
• Manage airway, vital signs, pain control, and sedation reversal during recovery
• Identify and respond quickly to complications such as respiratory distress, bleeding, or altered consciousness
• Provide initial wound care and ensure patient stability
• Collaborate with surgical and anesthesia teams to deliver high-quality care
• Document patient status, interventions, and educate patients/families on follow-up care
