Position Title: FSED Registered Nurse (RN)
Available
Shifts:
- Nights (Rotating Weekends)
- Mixed (Rotating Weekends)
Position Summary:
We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate FSED RN to provide professional nursing care in accordance with the Florida Nurse Practice Act. You will be working in a collaborative environment, delivering high-quality care to patients with a variety of needs. Your role will be essential in ensuring the best possible patient outcomes, with a focus on providing exceptional care during every shift.
Responsibilities- Patient Assessment: Collect comprehensive health data from patients and analyze the data to determine diagnosis or issues.
- Care Planning: Develop and implement individualized care plans, including strategies and alternatives to achieve desired outcomes.
- Patient Care: Administer medications and treatments, monitor responses, and adjust care as needed.
- Patient
Education:
Provide clear explanations of medical conditions, treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care to patients and their families. - Collaboration: Work within an interdisciplinary team to deliver quality care, supporting both the team and the patient’s needs.
- Experience: At least 3 years of recent Acute Care ER RN experience.
- Licensing: Active Florida RN license required (or compact licensure from another state, with FL RN compact license required within 90 days of hire). Advanced Nurse Practitioner license is also acceptable.
- Education: Associate Degree in Nursing required (BSN preferred).
- Certifications:
- BLS (Basic Life Support) or BCLS certification required within 30 days of employment start date.
- Skills: Strong clinical skills, the ability to work in fast-paced environments, and a commitment to providing compassionate care.
- Service: Strives to meet patient/customer needs, responds to concerns promptly, and aims for win-win solutions.
