Overview
Position Title:
Cardiac Med-Surg Registered Nurse (RN)
Available
Shifts:
- Nights (Rotating Weekends)
Patient Assessment: Assess patients’ conditions at the start of every shift and whenever there are changes in patient status, promptly reporting any concerns to the care team.
Care Administration: Perform procedures, administer medications, monitor responses, and ensure accurate and timely documentation of all care in the patient’s medical record.
Patient Interaction: Provide exceptional care by responding promptly to patient requests, anticipating needs, and proactively resolving issues.

Education:
Educate patients, families, and caregivers about the patient’s condition, treatment plan, medications, possible side effects, and follow-up care, ensuring they fully understand the medical details.
Experience: Candidates must have recent Acute Care RN experience within the last 3 years (unless the candidate has extensive RN experience, then it can be within the last 5 years). While Med-Surg experience is preferred, other acute care experiences are acceptable.
Licensing & Certification:
RN
BCLS within 30 days of employment start date
Associate Degree (BSN preferred)
