Primary Function:
The Digital Learning Assistant will assist the Digital Learning Coordinator in creating online course content, troubleshooting digital service issues, and covering the helpdesk. The Digital Learning Assistant will also proctor streamed classes and assist participants with online courses individually and/or in groups. Troubleshoot technical support prior to the delivery of digital learning presentations. Hours may vary and are based upon the needs of the organization.

Through your role, you contribute to empowering individuals and strengthening our community.
Essential Functions:
- Handles daily Career Campus helpdesk correspondence emails and phone calls.
- Helps develop, test, update, and troubleshoot Career Campus courses.
- Performs weekly and monthly technology tasks, such as deleting expired users and website updates.
- Proctors weekly Computer Foundation and MS365 classes taught by other staff.
- Plays a recording of a Work-Ready Workshop and monitors the chat when the workshop facilitator is unavailable.
Assists participants in the labs with basic computer skills as needed. - Assists with technology issues during weekly Orientations and classes as needed.
- Covers the Computer Lab when needed (when other staff are not available).
- Assists the Digital Learning Coordinator with other technology-related tasks as needed.
- Commits to the philosophy and mission of Goodwill Industries Big-Bend, Inc.
- Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:
Demonstrate strong communication skills, both verbal, and written.
Demonstrate a good understanding of and strong commitment to quality customer service.
Demonstrate good judgment in making decisions, setting priorities, and meeting deadlines.
Qualifications:
1-year experience
Prior coursework or experience in the IT field
Excellent time management and task management skills
Must be a self-starter and be able to multitask
Excellent oral and written communications skills
High School Diploma and/or equivalent
Physical Requirements:
Close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Sitting for long periods of time.
Ability to hear normal sounds.
Ability to speak in a manner that can be understood. Communicates effectively verbally and in writing with management, colleagues, and individuals inside and outside the organization.
Ability to perform highly focused work with surrounding noise.
Typical Work Environment:
Primary duties are performed both virtually and in an office environment. The noise level in the office environment is usually moderate.
