Pay Range: $29.56 to $40.65/hour (based on experience)
Shift Differentials: $2/hr (Evenings) | $3/hr (Nights)
Sign-On Bonus: $5,000

Overview

Join a dynamic imaging team at a 238-bed acute care hospital serving the Gulf Coast community.

This role offers exposure to a variety of imaging modalities, including General, Vascular, OB/GYN, and Pediatric ultrasound, in a supportive, high-quality healthcare environment. Advance your career while making a meaningful impact in patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic ultrasound exams across multiple specialties, including adult, pediatric, OB/GYN, and vascular imaging.
  • Accurately document and communicate imaging results to providers in a timely manner.
  • Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment following established protocols and safety guidelines.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.
  • Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures, adapting techniques for special populations.
  • Participate in quality assurance, continuing education, and process improvement initiatives.
Qualifications

Required:

  • 1+ years of acute care sonography experience (or ultrasound tech experience)
  • Associate Degree in relevant field
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire
  • Ability to perform a wide variety of exams confidently across age groups and specialties

Preferred:

  • Registered Vascular Technician (RVT) or Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS) within 1 year of hire
  • Comfort with pediatric and OB/GYN scanning
  • Strong interpersonal and patient care skills
  • Relocation assistance on a case-by-case basis
