ResponsibilitiesPerform high-quality MRI imaging procedures using established protocols.
Prepare and position patients for exams ensuring safety and comfort.
Operate MRI scanners and related imaging equipment in accordance with safety standards.
Evaluate images for diagnostic quality and accuracy.
Maintain accurate documentation and patient records in PACS.
Communicate effectively with physicians, radiologists, and multidisciplinary teams.
Adhere to hospital and departmental policies, including radiation and magnetic safety guidelines.
Participate in on‑call rotation as needed (minimum 2‑hour call‑back, time‑and‑a‑half pay).
QualificationsRequired:
Associate Degree or equivalent in Radiologic Technology.
Florida State Radiologic Technologist License.
ARRT certification in both Radiography (R) and Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MR) required.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Minimum 1 year of MRI experience.
Preferred:
3+ years of MRI experience in a hospital or acute care environment.
Proficiency in cross‑sectional anatomy including head, neck, body, musculoskeletal, spine, and neurological imaging.
Strong technical and critical‑thinking skills with attention to patient safety.
Hourly pay range: $32 to $44/hr (based on experience).
05 years: $32 to $37/hr
59 years: $38 to $40/hr
10+ years: $40.50 to $44/hr
Shift differentials: $5/hr for nights and weekends.
Sign‑on bonus: $5,000.
