• Prescribe medications, monitor patient responses, and order diagnostic tests as needed.
• Explain medication benefits, risks, and alternatives to patients and their families.
• Conduct thorough evaluations and interpret diagnostic tests to develop individualized care plans.
• Collaborate with mental health professionals and other healthcare providers for comprehensive patient support.
• Create and adjust treatment plans to align with patient needs and progress.
• Provide counseling and education on wellness, disease prevention, and lifestyle modifications.
• Maintain accurate, up‑to‑date medical records in compliance with Chrysalis Health policies.
• Adhere to state and federal regulations, ensuring all practices meet legal and ethical standards.
• Respond to urgent situations with professionalism and compassion.
• Participate in organizational initiatives, including emergency response assignments (e.g., hurricanes, pandemics).

• Master’s degree in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited institution.
• Current Florida PMHNP license.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with children and adolescents.
• Knowledge of psychiatric principles and medication management best practices.
• Valid Medicaid Provider Number and appropriate malpractice insurance.
• Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) and telehealth platforms.
• Strong knowledge of health promotion and disease prevention.
• Bilingual skills are a plus.
