We are seeking a Senior CNC Manufacturing Engineer to join a high-precision machining operation supporting regulated, high-reliability industries. This role serves as a technical leader within an advanced multi-axis machining environment.
- Drive CNC programming excellence across multi-axis milling, turning, and mill-turn equipment using modern CAD/CAM platforms
- Interpret complex engineering drawings and technical specifications to develop accurate machining strategies
- Select cutting tools, feeds, and speeds to optimize performance and tool life across high-performance metals
- Troubleshoot machining challenges and support first article validation to ensure part conformance and repeatability
- Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams to improve manufacturability and reduce cycle times
- Design and implement efficient work holding and tooling solutions for complex, tight-tolerance components
- Lead continuous improvement efforts focused on setup reduction, process standardization, and machining optimization
- Mentor programmers, machinists, and engineers to elevate technical capability across the organization
- Support new product introductions through prototype programming and process refinement
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements within a structured quality system.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering or equivalent hands‑on experience
- Minimum of eight years of CNC programming experience, including experience in precision or regulated manufacturing environments
- Deep knowledge of G‑code, multi‑axis machining including 3-, 4-, and 5‑axis platforms, and tight‑tolerance component production
- Experience with high‑performance metals and complex geometries
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach, mentor, and influence technical teams
- Familiarity with ERP or MES systems and digital manufacturing tools
- Experience with advanced CAD/CAM platforms such as NX, Mastercam, CATIA, or similar systems
- Exposure to continuous improvement methodologies within a low‑volume, high‑mix production environment
This is a senior technical leadership opportunity within a growing precision manufacturing environment where your expertise will directly shape machining strategy and operational performance.
