• Serve as a core faculty member in the Biomedical Sciences program.
• Teach undergraduate courses in Chemistry that include lower‑level courses in the undergraduate studies curriculum and upper‑level courses in Organic Chemistry, Biochemistry, and other chemistry courses in the biomedical degree curriculum.
• Provide mentorship, advising, and support to students.
• Engage in course and curriculum development activities, including laboratory management.
• Work with colleagues on campus and in the community to promote this new program and engage with local health‑related initiatives to benefit student experiences and program access.
• Collaborate as a team with colleagues at FSU Tallahassee in the College of Medicine and Chemistry departments for halting course coordination and committee service.
• Be an engaged faculty member for the FSU Panama City campus.

Candidates must have a doctorate degree in Chemistry or a related field from an accredited institution. Candidates who are ABD (all but.views dissertation) will be considered, as well as candidates who have a master’s degree in Chemistry with a different related doctoral degree (eेंज MD, Pharm

D, DPH, or PhD).

• Previous university teaching experience and the ability to translate Chemistry concepts to health‑related settings. Strong preference will be given to candidates who can teach a variety of courses such as Organic Chemistry, Biochemistry, Analytical Chemistry, and other upper‑division electives.
• Strong record of teaching, excellent communication skills, and a passion for mentoring students interested in health‑related career tracks.

FSU Panama City is offering a new degree program in Biomedical Sciences in collaboration with the FSU College of Medicine. The FSU Biomedical Sciences/Interdisciplinary Medical Sciences undergraduate degree program consists of a rigorous science curriculum with embedded experiential learning requirements to prepare students for pre‑health and pre‑medical graduate programs. Students in this program will major in Clinical Professions, which provides a solid science foundation for future health‑based careers.
