Adjunct Teaching Faculty – Chemistry (Part-time, OPS) – Panama City Campus
Florida State University invites applications for an adjunct teaching faculty position in Organic Chemistry, available for the Spring 2026 semester. The chemistry program supports students in core courses and encourages all undergraduate students to achieve their full potential.
Responsibilities- Teach undergraduate courses in Organic Chemistry, Organic Chemistry Lab, and/or Biochemistry.
- M.S. or Ph.D. in Chemistry (or related field) from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of two years of experience teaching at the university level, either in‑person or online.
- Ability to teach Organic Chemistry I & II, Organic Chemistry Lab, and Biochemistry I.
- Ability to teach General Chemistry I & II and their labs.
- Strong lab management skills and collaboration with other STEM instructors on student success initiatives.
- Demonstrable record of instructional excellence and a focus on strong pedagogy.
Position is located on‑site in Panama City, Florida, and is anticipated to begin in Fall 2026. A criminal history background check may be required.
