Senior Placement Consultant - Architecture, Engineering, ConstructionA client of I.K. Hofmanns is looking for qualified construction materials Technicians/Inspectors to join their ever-growing Materials team for a transportation project in Panama City, FL. Inspectors will be required to go from job site to job site and take samples of concrete, soils, asphalt, etc. to ensure the quality and safety of current construction jobs. In addition, this person will take the samples to the lab to run compressive strength tests.
You will learn the ins and outs of Construction Materials and understand the long-term goals and paths to becoming a Master Inspector.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2-3 years in Construction Materials Testing
- ACI Certification for Concrete testing
- Successful completion of related internal safety certifications.
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable violation history.
- ACI Concrete Field/Laboratory and Nuclear Density Gauge Certification.
