Holiday Beach Companies is five unique companies in one - we are all-inclusive from Real Estate, Development, Construction, Mechanical and Rentals. We offer the finest luxury vacation rentals throughout Florida's Panhandle.

The Beach Attendant position provides excellent service to guests staying in our short-term rental homes. Beach Attendants are responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and enjoyable beach experience for guests, assisting with beach-related activities, and ensuring the overall comfort and satisfaction of our guests. The key responsibilities include setting up beach chairs, umbrellas, and other beach related services.

• Deliver beach chairs to our rental homes, set up and break down on the beach daily.
• Deliver, setup, and break down all needed materials for bonfires.
• Monitor and host beach bonfires when assigned.
• Ensure beach area and surrounding grounds of homes are free of trash and other debris.
• Blow off driveways and walkways as needed.
• Basic outdoor maintenance to include but not limited to: power washing outdoor furniture, cleaning grills, fixing broken furniture, painting, landscaping, changing lights, etc.
• Power wash outdoor furniture, decks, driveways, etc.
• Ensure outdoor equipment is in good working order and input work orders as needed to replace, fix, etc.
• Replace light bulbs, tighten doorknobs, replace A/C filters, deep clean grills (replacing or recommending replacements parts to maintain good working order), replenish pine straw, verify all sprinkler heads work, and other basic indoor/outdoor maintenance as needed per house.
• Other duties as assigned.

• High school education or GED Equivalent
• Ability to work successfully in a team environment.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must have own reliable transportation due to split shifts.
• Provide professional customer service with an outgoing, friendly and accommodating personality.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Time management: arrive to work on time and stay organized to manage multiple priorities.
• Problem analysis and problem-solving skills.

• Beach Attendants work a split shift schedule, which includes working both morning and evening shifts in the same day:
• An early morning shift to deliver and set up beach chairs and umbrellas
• An evening shift to break down and remove beach equipment
• Evening shifts may extend later than scheduled depending on guest activity, including bonfires or special events.
• Workdays and hours may vary based on operational needs, weather conditions, and guest demand.
• Weekends and holidays are required during the peak rental season, typically May through August.
• Days off during peak season are scheduled based on coverage needs.
• This position requires flexibility with scheduling, including early mornings and evenings.
• Consistent attendance and punctuality are essential to meet daily setup and breakdown timelines.
• Schedule details will be provided in advance, but changes may occur based on guest needs or weather.

This is a seasonal role
, typically lasting about six months
, with the season generally running from spring through late summer
.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs or more on a regular and continuous basis.
• Position requires excessive walking, climbing, and standing must be able to exert well-placed mobility for multiple hours a day.
• Requires grasping and other repetitive motions such as bending, stooping, squatting and stretching in order to complete tasks. Length of time for each task vary from day to day, task to task.
• Must be able to work safely outdoors in hot climates for multiple hours at a time.
