Night Auditor

Overview

We are pleased to announce a wonderful opportunity for a Night Auditor.

• Execute guest reservation, check-in, check-out, payment, and service procedures in compliance with brand quality assurance standards
• Maintain a friendly and hospitable attitude with guests and team members and be present at the desk during all hours
• Acquire and maintain knowledge of local attractions and amenities to provide information to guests
• Ensure collections, including credit card and direct bill, are executed in accordance with company policies
• Maintain proper control over keys, safe deposits, and all company and guest property
• Monitor competitor occupancy and rates to help optimize rates
• Ensure that all required documentation is completed in a timely manner
• Quote daily rates accurately and issue credits when appropriate
• Perform other duties as assigned to support guest satisfaction

• Proficient in administration of applicable property management systems
• Ability to respond quickly and appropriately to emergency situations
• Experience in accurate cash handling and credit card processing and maintaining security of confidential information
• Ability to pass certification tests required to meet brand standards
• Experience working with computers, especially data entry
• Works well with others
• Maintains a customer-focused approach and puts guests’ needs first
• Is approachable and encourages effective communication with guests and fellow team members

This position may be physically demanding. You must be comfortable standing, sitting, walking, bending, lifting, and squatting for extended periods.

Pay Scale: $13.00 - $22.86/hour
