Role OverviewThe Scheduling and Staffing Administrator supports store leadership through administrative duties related to staffing, scheduling, talent acquisition training, compliance, and payroll. This role maintains associate paperwork, organizes break and training rooms, and updates time and attendance records according to Lowe’s policies and procedures. Additionally, this role assists in reviewing, scheduling, and processing prospective candidates and supports safety culture by handling administrative tasks related to Worker’s Compensation, General Liability, and Auto Claims.
Key Responsibilities- Support internal customers (store leadership, HR, associates) and external customers with friendly, professional service.
- Monitor driver and associate scheduling to ensure timely delivery and efficient stocking.
- Maintain safety practices and promote safety among team members.
- Handle administrative duties related to staffing, payroll, and compliance.
- Organize associate paperwork, training, and break rooms.
- Assist with talent acquisition processes and candidate scheduling.
- Support administrative tasks related to safety claims and insurance.
Minimum Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1 year retail experience.
- 2 years administrative experience, including data processing, scheduling, and using office software.
- 1 year experience managing confidential staff information.
- Experience working in cross-functional teams with exempt and non-exempt staff.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field.
- Additional retail and staffing experience.
This role does not require regular travel but may occasionally require travel for meetings or training. The position offers flexible scheduling, generally 25-40 hours per week, including mornings, afternoons, and evenings. Ability to lift 10 pounds is required.
