Overview
Job Title: Career Connections, Youth Program Manager (full-time, grant-funded)
Department: Corporate, Community, & Continuing Education
Work Location: Education Center at Blue Island
DutiesUnder the supervision, the Program Manager is responsible for the operations, including implementation, coordination, and evaluation of services provided for grant-funded youth participants including job preparation, placement and academic enrichment. The Program Manager is dedicated to the learning college concepts by developing programs and facilitating activities that promote student success and lifelong learning.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Minimum three (3) years of experience with federal grants.
- Minimum two (2) years’ experience with WIOA grant programs
- (WIOA Youth grant preferred)
- Knowledge of grant funding operations and proven success in grant writing, grant budget development/maintenance/management, staff supervision, project management, assessment/testing, and direct student service.

QualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. In addition to the above experience and education requirements, the ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:
- Ability to work effectively with Moraine Valley faculty, staff, and administrative personnel and external partners.
- Excellent organizational and record-keeping skills.
- Excellent concept development.
- Exceptional writing and verbal skills.
- Excellent budget development and tracking skills.

Occasional evenings and weekends as required
$60,974-$81,553 (plus exceptional benefits)
