Compensation: $30–$32 per hour

About Our Client: Addison Group is partnering with an established outpatient medical practice in the southwest Chicago suburbs. Our client provides comprehensive patient care across multiple locations and is seeking a skilled X‑Ray Technologist to join their imaging team.
Job Description: This role is responsible for performing high‑quality diagnostic imaging in a fast‑paced outpatient setting. The ideal candidate will deliver excellent patient care, follow proper imaging protocols, and work collaboratively with clinical staff across multiple clinic sites. Training is provided.
Key Responsibilities- Complete diagnostic X‑ray exams following proper positioning techniques, radiation safety standards, and departmental guidelines.
- Review images for clarity and accuracy, ensuring all studies are properly labeled and documented.
- Confirm exam orders, prepare patients for imaging, and clearly explain procedures to support comfort and understanding.
- Operate, monitor, and maintain X‑ray equipment; promptly report any technical issues.
- Perform routine quality control tasks and maintain accurate imaging and patient records.
- IEMA License and ARRT Certification required.
- Previous experience using CR and digital imaging systems.
- Orthopaedic imaging experience preferred but not required.
- Reliable transportation to travel between assigned clinic locations.
Full‑time, Monday–Friday. Hours vary between 8:00 AM–4:30 PM depending on clinic needs. Weekly schedules are provided in advance.
- Private practice outpatient environment with manageable patient volume.
- Works alongside another experienced X‑ray technologist.
- PTO and paid holidays.
- Health insurance eligibility at 130 hours/month.
This is a direct‑hire opportunity with an immediate start date. Candidates must be comfortable rotating between nearby clinics as coverage needs arise.
