Position: [NEW] Recruiter for In-Home Care Agency | M-F [11 am - 6 pm] | Palos Heights

Overview

Recruiter for In-Home Care Agency | Palos Heights |

Hours:

11:00 AM – 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Compensation: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour.

Responsibilities
  • Work with our ad agency and utilize Career Plug, college platforms, SBA, CNA schools for extra job postings
  • Serve as the point of contact for clients, caregivers, and case managers, including answering phone calls, directing calls, and providing information about services to prospective clients
  • Participate in on-call rotation, every two weeks
  • Hire CNAs and Caregivers on a daily/weekly basis, including pre-hire tasks such as:
    • Schedule interviews with caregivers’ applicants
    • Assist applicants with New Hire Paperwork
    • Verify eligibility for the IDPH Worker Registry (Public side) within 24 hours
    • Assist with obtaining needed certifications (CPR, TB test, car insurance, etc.)
    • Enter New Hire data on Axis Care within 48 hours (with photo, scan all documents, availability schedule)
    • Complete an Assisting Hands checklist for new caregivers within 24 hours
    • Add new applicants to Messaging Groups
    • Complete IDPH Web Portal before the caregiver’s first shift
    • Match caregivers with clients
    • Schedule training for new caregivers (online or in person) before their first shift
    • Organize Orientation and assist with scheduling for new hires
  • Assist with post-hire Caregiver team tasks, including counseling new hires and caregivers regarding attendance issues, maintaining caregivers’ files, and weekly follow-up calls
  • Work closely with the Business Manager and Client Caregiver Manager to ensure client cases are covered, and provide weekly/monthly hiring reports and Hiring Matrix; take initiative to assist with other agency tasks as needed
Hours and Compensation
  • Hours:

    11:00 AM – 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday
  • Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
  • Paid Time Off
  • Paid Certification Renewal
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Health Care Administration
  • CN A and experience in Home Care or Care Facility fields
  • Minimum 1 year Home Care experience
  • Available for on-call rotation (every 2 weeks)
  • (Preferred) Experience as a manager or in a leadership position
  • Organized, a multi-tasker, communicative, and possess strong time management skills
