The ClassesThe OFJCC is seeking experienced yoga instructors, especially those specializing in Ashtanga and Vinyasa Yoga.

- Lead safe, motivating group yoga classes in accordance with OFJCC policies and procedure
- Provide appropriate modifications and progressions for a wide range of fitness levels
- Deliver excellent and courteous customer service to members
- Lead classes with clear and concise instruction, easy for the participants to follow
- Before and after each instructed class, ensure that the Yoga studio is well maintained and adequately equipped and organized
- Maintain active certification in a recognized certifying organization, such as the Yoga Alliance
- Stay up to date on current trends in Yoga classes
- Promote the group fitness schedule by encouraging class participants to try other fitness classes
- Communicate with Group Exercise Manager on member feedback, equipment needs and operational status, scheduling, and subbing
- Experienced Instructor with RYT 200 or RYT 500 certification
- Confident in your professionalism and a passion to motivate others
- Current CPR/AED certification
- Working knowledge of human anatomy, kinesiology and training principals
- Excellent communication skills
- Extensive knowledge of classes being taught
- Collaborative and a flexible leader in and out of the studio
- Demonstrate a commitment to professionalism through ongoing education, maintaining quality standards, and continual evaluation
