• Design, develop, test and deploy simple and complex features in SAP Success Factors Cloud HCM suite of products using best coding standards and target architecture
• Debug complex issues in code and figure out the root cause, using tests automation to validate the work
• Get hands on experience with emerging trends and technologies in the field of cloud development, including open‑source products and contribute to the on‑going development of Success Factors suite of products
• Troubleshoot issues within own area of expertise and supports others in resolving issues

• Minimum BS degree in computer science or related field
• 3‑7 years of experience in Java and related technologies
• Previous working experience and knowledge of Agile methodology

• Strong foundation in algorithms, data structures, OOP, design patterns and software design principles
• Experience with backend services (REST APIs, Microservices) and frontend frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue).
• Understanding of at least one relational database system such as SAP Hana, Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, Postgre
  
  SQL, or DB2
• Hands‑on expertise in cloud‑native development with Cloud Foundry, Kubernetes, Docker, AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Dev Ops mindset – inherent sense of ownership through the development and deployment lifecycle
• Knowledge of SCM tools (e.g., Git/Git Hub) and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git Hub Actions, Git Lab CI, etc.).
• Understanding of microservices architecture and modern API design.
• Experience in software engineering best practices such as code reviews, automated testing, version control, and security‑first development.
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills for distributed systems.
• Willingness to “go the extra mile” to ensure the highest quality of experience for our customers
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Collaborative, enthusiastic, and proactive mindset with a passion for coding and problem‑solving.
