We are seeking a highly motivated Full Stack Software Engineer to join our dynamic Energy Software team  will own the software stack for our 350,000 rooftop solar systems, adding functionality to empower Service teams and keep our IoT solar devices healthy and connected. The ideal candidate blends experience in embedded and server‑side environments, enjoys solving end‑to‑end problems, and has a passion for creating exceptional software.

• Design, develop, and maintain software systems for Tesla’s rooftop solar fleet.
• Collaborate on design assessments and code reviews, mentoring peers and fostering quality.
• Develop strategies for deployment, scaling, and monitoring of applications.
• Analyze scalability, reliability, performance, and security issues, and integrate solutions.
• Own projects and identify opportunities for operational improvements.
• Adapt to shifting priorities and manage new initiatives aligned with strategic goals.
• Implement rigorous testing strategies, including unit, integration, and stress testing.
• Promote core team values: engineering excellence, curiosity, bias for action, self‑awareness, inclusivity, and vulnerability.
• Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure project alignment.

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of professional experience with C#, C, Python, or Java.
• In‑depth knowledge of database design, modeling, and SQL.
• Proven experience building scalable systems.
• Understanding of automated testing and deployment processes.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Expected Compensation – $140,000 – $252,000 per annum, plus cash and stock awards.
