We’re seeking a Lead or Senior+ Frontend Engineer to join our platform engineering team. You’ll play a pivotal part in developing the next‑generation human data collection platform by building sophisticated, highly‑performant user interfaces for AI/ML development, driving product strategy, and directly impacting our startup trajectory. You will be responsible for creating the engaging and intuitive experiences that connect users to our powerful backend systems.

• Own the frontend from architecture and specifications through to ensuring reliable, high‑quality live deployments.
• Understand, translate, breakdown and estimate the product roadmap into features, focusing on UI/UX implementation.
• Lead user testing sessions with stakeholders on implemented features.
• Have an understanding of performance optimization (bundle size, load times, rendering) and clean code.
• Contribute to maintaining a best‑in‑class quality pipeline, encompassing linting, CI/CD, and usability/end‑to‑end tests.

• Ambition to consistently test and optimize code and component performance.
• Professional experience that positions you to be flexible, reliable and move quickly.
• Proficiency in React (with Hooks and functional components) and modern front‑end tooling like Vite, Webpack or similar.
• Professional experience with Type Script, including complex state and component prop management.
• Knowledge of different state management paradigms (Redux Toolkit, Zustand, Context API).
• Eye for accessibility (WCAG) and cross‑browser & OS compatibility.
• Familiarity with product and design life cycles, collaborating with designers and product managers to translate mockups into pixel‑perfect, scalable components.
• Proven ability to write high‑quality, well‑tested, maintainable code, including robust unit and integration tests (Jest).
• Familiarity with current trends and best practices in frontend development.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.

• Strong Django/Python experience to unblock yourself when necessary.
• Familiarity with component libraries and design systems (Storybook).
• Experience with testing frameworks like Cypress or Playwright for end‑to‑end testing.
• Interest in improving developer tooling; we run a one‑command setup for a full‑blown local dev environment that mimics prod.
• Experience with modern backend frameworks (Django/Python) and API integration (REST/Graph
