We are currently seeking an experienced Foreman to join our team of professional, well-rounded, and creative individuals servicing and maintaining high-end, well-crafted homes. As an integral member of our Service and Maintenance team, the Service & Maintenance Foreman is responsible for overseeing, coordinating, and executing service, repair, and preventative maintenance tasks for high-end homes and estates. This role ensures that all work meets the highest standards of craftsmanship, client care, and quality expected in high-end homes.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, professional, skilled in multiple trades, and experienced in managing both subcontractors and in-house technicians.
- Perform and oversee repairs, maintenance, and small project work on high-end residences such as carpentry, painting, finishes, and facilitate electrical, plumbing, and HVAC service and repair.
- Diagnose issues, troubleshoot systems, and handle basic repairs or, if needed, recommend best course of action and facilitate service.
- Manage small service projects from start to finish, including planning, material procurement, documentation, and job completion.
- Schedule, oversee, and quality-check subcontractors, vendors, and specialty trades.
- Conduct regular site inspections to identify preventative maintenance needs and potential risks; share findings and recommendations with Project Managers, Subcontractors and Owners.
- Assist in developing and maintaining preventative maintenance schedules for each home.
- Comfortable and proficient in communicating clearly and professionally regarding work progress, timelines, and recommendations with Owners, Owner’s Representatives, Managers, Estate Managers, and Subcontractors.
- Ensure all work meets or exceeds PMC company standards with a focus on quality, efficiency, and client satisfaction.
- Maintain detailed work orders, maintenance records, and subcontractor daily logs; provide timely work-in-progress reports to management; use a cell phone or iPad to communicate with team members and document service and maintenance details in the client database; accurately code and submit invoices and receipts.
- Uphold company safety protocols and local building code compliance; lead weekly tailgate safety meetings.
- Monitor and ensure job site cleanliness and organization at all times.
- Maintain the highest level of discretion, professionalism, and respect for client privacy.
- Provide guidance, training and mentorship to Maintenance Technicians.
- A minimum of 5+ years of experience in residential construction, maintenance, or service, preferably experience working directly in occupied high-end homes or estates.
- Strong multi-trade skills (carpentry, basic electrical/plumbing, finish work, troubleshooting).
- Ability to supervise and coordinate subcontractor trades and technicians, mentor and manage PMC Service and Maintenance Technicians.
- Knowledge of smart home systems, high-end finishes, and custom home mechanical systems.
- Strong communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and recognize when to escalate or seek support.
- Ability to read construction plans and specifications.
- Proficiency in communicating via email, and utilizing Google’s G Suite.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
