Overview

We’re looking for a Sales Executive with a hunter mentality to join our dynamic team. We’re Anecdotes; a dynamic B‑round startup founded in June 2020, revolutionizing the Compliance Automation landscape for hyper‑growth companies. Our mission is to empower GRC teams with credible, visible, and actionable data, enabling real‑time visibility into Security Compliance posture across SaaS tools, cloud infrastructures, private networks, databases, and more.

Responsibilities
  • Proactively identify and target new prospects through research, networking, and outreach.
  • Leverage marketing‑delivered opportunities to accelerate pipeline growth and close deals.
  • Build and manage a robust sales pipeline to meet and exceed revenue targets.
  • Develop compelling value propositions tailored to client needs, showcasing our solutions.
  • Lead consultative sales discussions and guide prospects through the sales cycle.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a seamless client onboarding experience.
  • Maintain accurate and timely reporting of sales activities in CRM tools.
Qualifications
  • 4+ years of proven experience in a sales role, in a B2B SaaS environment.
  • Experience in the GRC industry, or a strong background in security is required.
  • Based in the US – Midwest and able to work “standard” business hours.
  • Ability to travel to events or conferences in the assigned territory.
  • Strong negotiation skills with a demonstrated ability to successfully close deals and achieve revenue targets.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients at all levels of the organization.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to understand client needs, anticipate challenges, and develop creative solutions.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
  • High level of organization and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
  • Experience with Force Management, Command of the Message, Sandler Sales Methodology, or an equivalent sales process.
