Key Responsibilities Customer Experience
  • Ensure every employee delivers the 5 C’s of Service Excellence (Create, Connect, Convert, Close, and Continue) to every client.
  • Provide a VIP experience for every client entering the store.
  • Ensure sales associates use technology to protect existing clients and grow the RLS client base.
People & Development
  • Cast and develop store employees, building diverse and powerful field teams.
  • Coach and mentor all employees to achieve optimal results.
  • Build bench strength for future talent and manage succession planning.
Merchandising & Presentation
  • Provide consistent feedback to buyers and planners on opportunities.
  • Maintain presentation standards that reflect Ralph Lauren’s image.
  • Set up store environments that serve as silent sales associates, telling compelling brand stories.
Store Operations & Inventory Management
  • Achieve store shrink goals and maintain asset‑protection procedures.
  • Execute strategies that support sales, marketing, and profit objectives, including gross margin.
  • Establish and uphold all store processes and procedures.
P&L Ownership
  • Achieve KPIs related to customer experience (Conversion, UPT, SPH, ADT, and Customer Shop scores).
  • Drive employee engagement and manage key metrics such as turnover and time‑to‑fill.
  • Manage selling expenses and achieve payroll percentage targets.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Relevant work experience as a general manager in retail preferred.
  • Strong computer skills:
    Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Workday, Outlook.
  • Physical ability to maneuver around the sales floor, dressing rooms, cash wrap, and office; lift up to 30 lbs and climb moderately using a ladder under RL Health & Safety guidelines.
  • Ability to operate the register, stand, and move for multiple hours.
  • Strong business acumen, enthusiasm, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Experience guiding individuals toward goal achievement through negotiation, teamwork, motivation, and staff development.
Salary

$100,000 – $135,000 annually.
