Senior Cook

Overview

We are hiring immediately for a full-time SENIOR COOK position.

Location:

Siemens Palo Alto - 3130 Hansen Way Cafe, Palo Alto, CA 94304.

Full-time schedule. Monday through Friday; 5:30 am to 2:00 pm or 6:00 am to 2:30 pm. More details upon interview.

• Prepares food to ensure it is nutritious and properly flavored in accordance with applicable federal, state, local and company standards, guidelines and regulations.
• Oversee cooking activities as assigned; prepares various entrees and menu items following established recipes.
• Operates and cleans equipment after each use; performs scheduled routine cleaning.
• Stores, labels and dates food items; maintains organized storage of dry goods and refrigerated and frozen products.
• Follows HACCP guidelines to ensure quality and safety of food supply; complies with health and sanitation regulations.
• Assists in maintaining accurate daily production records and completes all required documentation, reports, and logs as assigned.
• Assists in the cross-training of employees; performs other duties as assigned.

• Experience as sous chef, ordering, inventory, batch cooking, high volume, catering, and kitchen management is preferred.

• Pay Range: $25.00 per hour to $28.00 per hour
