Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Chef role at Arya Steakhouse in Palo Alto, CA. The Chef will be responsible for planning and crafting high-quality dishes, maintaining kitchen organization and cleanliness, and supervising kitchen staff to ensure consistency and excellence. The role involves designing and preparing menu items, managing inventory, and adhering to health and safety regulations. The Chef will contribute to creating an exquisite culinary experience that aligns with Arya Steakhouse’s commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Experience with menu planning, food preparation, cooking techniques, and knowledge of diverse cuisines, especially Persian and steakhouse and fine dining dishes
• Skills in supervising and training kitchen staff, coordinating kitchen operations, and promoting teamwork
• Ability to manage inventory, ensure cost-effective operations, and minimize food waste
• In-depth knowledge of food safety standards, hygiene practices, and regulatory compliance
• Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving abilities
• Passion for food quality, creativity, and delivering exceptional culinary experiences
• Formal culinary education or experience in a similar role preferred
