* YOU WILL BE:

**** The Restaurant Host serves Neiman Marcus customers in a warm, accommodating, and professional manner by greeting and seating customers.

* WHAT YOU WILL DO:

***** Maintains presence at host stand / door to professionally and graciously greet and seat customers
* Monitors server performance to ensure smooth service during the customers’ dining experience
* Observes proper telephone etiquette
* Handles reservations through Open Table platform (including VIPs) and any additional inquiries regarding hours of operation, specials, events, etc.
* Organizes reservations, maximizes seating during operating hours, and optimizes staffing and customer traffic
* Adheres to established accounting procedures for all transactions, including all authorized methods of payment and maintains knowledge of the POS system
* Keeps flow of service to standards (e.g., proper seating of customers to each wait station)
* Participates in daily pre-shift meetings
* Fulfills duties that may involve lifting objects (e.g., tables, chairs, highchairs, etc.)
* Maintains cleanliness and presentability of all menus and menu covers
* Maintains the highest level of hygiene standards to include, but not limited to:
* Clean, pressed uniform jacket and accompanying clothing and shoes
* Clean and professionally styled hair and nails, maintained to avoid food contamination risks
* Adheres to posted work schedule and follows established procedures for schedule and shift changes
**** WHAT YOU WILL BRING:
***** High School diploma or GED preferred
* Knowledge of Open Table platform
* Excellent oral and written communication skills
* Ability to work autonomously
* Motivated and results-driven
* Ability to interact graciously with the public and handle multiple duties at the same time
* Exceptional customer service and problem-solving skills* "Win together" mentality
* Role requires standing, bending, climbing stairs, and lifting and carrying 35 pounds
* Associates must be willing to work a flexible schedule based on business needs, which will include evenings, weekends, and holidays
