Overview
Bay IVF Center has been a leader in advanced reproductive treatments in Northern California for over 30 years. We are dedicated to providing compassionate, individualized care to help individuals and couples build their families.
Bay IVF Center is seeking a full-time Laboratory Assistant to support daily operations in our IVF laboratory. This role is ideal for a candidate with strong laboratory fundamentals who is interested in developing expertise in reproductive laboratory sciences. Training and mentorship will be provided by experienced embryologists.
Candidates resides within the Bay Area is preferred.
U.S. citizenship or permanent residency is required.
Key Responsibilities- Perform daily laboratory quality control (QC) procedures
- Run hormonal assays
- Conduct semen analysis, semen wash, and cryopreservation
- Accurately enter and report laboratory data
- Assist with statistical and data analysis
- Maintain laboratory inventory, supplies, and equipment
- Adhere to all laboratory safety and aseptic protocols
- Participate in laboratory training, including tissue culture and microscope-based work
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Chemistry, or a related field
- Proficiency in basic laboratory techniques (pipetting, microscopy, aseptic technique)
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Preferred
- Tissue culture experience a plus
- Experience working under a stereoscope
- Strong interest in reproductive biology or laboratory sciences
