Overview
The Hartnett Lab in the Department of Ophthalmology at Stanford University School of Medicine is seeking a Life Science Research Professional 1 to perform basic functions and activities involved in defined research projects, and independently conduct and analyze experiments. The LSRP1 will be involved in in vivo animal experiments, breeding colony measurement, angiogenesis and biochemical assays in tissue culture, tissue and in vivo.
Examples include measurement of outcomes by western blot, PCR and functional angiogenic assays, in vivo animal studies. The LSRP1 will also participate in maintaining consumable lab ware stocks, chemical inventory, biomaterials and hydrogel preparation and storage, cell line storage, animal inventory, safety records, and equipment. Experience with western blot and in vivo animal experiments strongly desired.
