• Responsible for completing first‑time and repeat job set‑ups on lathes
• Manage daily tool and work offsets
• Use inspection tools including calipers, height gauges, micrometers, etc.
• Manage a repeatable process from blueprints with little supervision
• Use blueprints, schematics, written and verbal instructions, shop policies, and normal quality standards to obtain required contours, dimensions, and finish specifications
• Ability to write programs using CAD/CAMarkeit(excluding~; Experience with Esprit a plus but not required; highly preferred to edit programs)
• Ensure proper protocols for starting, maintaining, using, cleaning, and turning off equipment
• Calibrate and modify operational sequences to adjust machining speed and cut frequency
• Troubleshoot common machine issues
• Perform other duties as assigned
