Contract to Hire
Company summary (name confidential)Our client is a venture-backed medical technology startup on a mission to bring surgical-level precision and control to minimally invasive, catheter-based procedures. For decades, endovascular therapies have been limited by catheter instability and reduced control inside complex anatomy. Our team is changing that with a differentiated platform designed to dramatically improve stability, steerability, and procedural precision—opening the door to new therapies across cardiovascular disease.
Whythis company is a big deal
- Massive clinical need + huge market: Cardiovascular disease impacts millions of patients, and the opportunity to improve outcomes is real and urgent.
- Platform potential: This isn’t a one-and-done product—it’s a technology foundation that can expand into multiple therapies over time.
- Proven builders at the helm: The executive team includes experienced medical device entrepreneurs who’ve successfully built and scaled before.
- Strong financial backing: The company has raised capital from a diversified investor base including venture capital, private equity, and strategic corporate investors—fuel for sustained growth (not “hope and vibes”).
- Startup speed, high ownership culture: Innovation, teamwork, and moving fast are core to how the team operates.
We’re hiring an experienced, detail-oriented Buyer/Planner to support a rapidly scaling supply chain organization. - Optimize inventory to balance material availability, manufacturing efficiency, and working capital
- Maintain clean purchasing documentation aligned with QMS requirements
- Support compliance with applicable FDA and ISO 13485 standards
- Identify and implement improvements to procurement, planning, and materials workflows
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years in procurement/planning/supply chain in medical device or regulated manufacturing
- Strong working knowledge of Net Suite is required
- Familiarity with FDA and ISO 13485 quality requirements
- Strong Excel skills and a data-driven approach to decision-making
- Excellent communication skills and confidence collaborating across teams and with vendors
