Overview

Cooley LLP has an opportunity available to work in the business litigation practice group in our Palo Alto office. Preferred candidates should present a solid background in complex commercial litigation, securities litigation and other shareholder disputes, white collar matters, and internal investigations.

Responsibilities
  • Handle complex commercial litigation, securities litigation and other shareholder disputes, white collar matters, and internal investigations as part of the business litigation practice.
  • Contribute to and supervise litigation projects, manage multiple high-level assignments, and produce thoughtful, intelligent work product of superior quality.
  • Work with and oversee junior associates and business professionals as part of case teams.
Qualifications
  • 5-7 years of significant litigation experience, including superior writing skills and significant motions practice.
  • Experience in the Litigation Department of a comparable law firm.
  • Project-based experience and the ability to multi-task on a variety of high-level assignments while consistently delivering high-quality work.
  • Experience working with and overseeing junior associates and business professionals.
  • High level of academic achievement from a law school institution.
Compensation

The expected annual pay range for this position is $365,000-$420,000. Please note that final offer amount will be dependent on geographic location, applicable experience and skillset of the candidate.
