Senior Capital Markets Associate - Palo Alto

Elite AmLaw 25 firm with a globally recognized Capital Markets practice seeks a senior Capital Markets associate (6th–8th year) to join its Palo Alto office.

The group handles a full spectrum of equity and debt offerings, including IPOs, follow-ons, ATM programs, registered and unregistered offerings, convertible and high-yield debt, investment-grade financings, and hybrid securities. Clients span technology, life sciences, financial institutions, energy, infrastructure, industrials, and emerging growth sectors. The role is built for generalist capital markets advisory with responsibilities across issuer-side and underwriter-side representations.

The Palo Alto office is core to the firm’s West Coast strategy and sits at the center of technology-driven capital markets activity.

Senior associate (6th–8th year) with high-end Capital Markets experience from a peer AmLaw firm. Ideal candidates will have broad transactional exposure, strong drafting and execution skills, and the ability to run deals and manage junior teams with minimal supervision. Experience advising public companies, investment banks, and sponsors across multiple industries is strongly preferred. While prior technology or growth-company exposure is a plus, the group values versatility and depth over narrow specialization.

Candidates should be comfortable operating in fast-moving, high-stakes environments and motivated by complex legal and commercial issues rather than volume-driven work.

Qualifications include:

• Elite academic credentials; Juris Doctor from an ABA-accredited law school
• Training at a top-tier Big Law platform
• California Bar admission preferred
