Join to apply for the IP Litigation (IT/Engineering): 2nd-5th year role at Cooley LLP.
We are seeking candidates with at least a basic understanding of and keen interest in patent law, who are comfortable speaking in court, taking depositions, and engaging directly with clients and opposing counsel. The ideal candidate enjoys strategic thinking, teamwork, and actively participating in case development.
Responsibilities- 2-5 years of significant patent litigation experience.
- Experience with infringement, validity, and damages issues.
- Educational background in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, computer science, or physics.
- Experience working in an IP department of a law firm preferred; ITC experience is a plus.
- Excellent writing skills and high academic achievement from a law school.
The annual salary range is $235,000 - $365,000, dependent on location and experience. Benefits include comprehensive health coverage, flexible spending accounts, life insurance, parental leave, and more.
