JOB SUMMARY:We are seeking an experienced Product Manager for API to manage and oversee the organization’s portfolio of data & analytics technologies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing multiple Data & Analytics products, and other industry-leading solutions. This individual will be responsible for optimizing the performance and effectiveness of the data & analytics products, ensuring that the organization’s data & analytics products are scalable, and efficient.
The
Product Manager for API will be expected to provide strategic oversight, drive continuous improvement, and work closely with cross-functional teams to align data & analytics with business needs. This role requires a mix of technical expertise, project management, and vendor management skills to ensure successful delivery and operation of data & analytics products.
- Develop and maintain the strategic roadmap for all data and analytics initiatives.
- Prioritize projects based on business value, resource availability, and strategic alignment.
- Conduct feasibility studies and business case analyses for new project proposals.
- Oversee the execution, monitoring, and control of all projects within the portfolio.
- Manage portfolio-level budgets, timelines, and resource allocation to ensure efficiency.
- Identify and mitigate risks across multiple projects to ensure successful delivery.
- Develop and present comprehensive reports and dashboards on portfolio performance to senior leadership and key stakeholders.
- Act as the primary liaison between technical data teams and business stakeholders, translating business needs into data requirements.
- Communicate project status, challenges, and successes to all relevant parties.
- Mentor and guide project managers and business analysts to improve project delivery capabilities.
- Foster a collaborative and data-driven culture across the organization.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field. Certifications such as API Bootcamp Specialization, Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst Associate, Product Analytics Certification are highly preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Data Analytics, with a focus on portfolio management and experience with leading and various API products, or similar technologies.
- Proven experience in managing API technologies across large-scale enterprise environments.
- Strong experience in vendor management, including working with multiple network and data & analytics product vendors to ensure SLAs and product effectiveness.
- Solid understanding of API principles and expertise in various API technologies.
- Strong project management and organizational skills, with experience in managing complex technical projects.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, particularly in high-stakes or urgent situations.
- Willing to work on-site and to travel to BGC.
- Preferably someone who can start ASAP but not a requirement.
